Tackle long-term conditions and break habits with hypnotherapy


Hypnotherapy is a complementary therapy that uses the power of positive suggestion to cause subconscious change to your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. It can be used to help tackle long-term conditions and break habits.
During hypnotherapy, I will aim to alter your state of consciousness to relax the conscious part of your mind while at the same time stimulating and focussing the subconscious part of your mind. During this state of heightened awareness, which we will reach through my expert relaxation techniques, I will make appropriate suggestions which will help you overcome conditions and habits causing you problems and issues in your life.
Hypnotherapy is widely recognised as a highly effective treatment for breaking habits, stress-related problems and for a range of long-term conditions. In recent years, it has been gaining credibility in the medical world following a recommendation from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recognising hypnotherapy as a treatment for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
It has also been found effective in losing weight and quitting smoking, skin conditions and anxiety, pregnancy and childbirth.
